On 19 September 2019, BIDV redeemed its VND4,000 billion bonds issued in Batch 2 in 2014.

These bonds are non-convertible, non-warranted and non-guaranteed, denominated in Vietnamese Dong, establishing the direct debt repayment obligations, being subordinated debts of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, and meeting the current regulations to be calculated in BIDV’s tier 2 capital. BIDV issued the VND3,300 billion 10-year and 1-day term bonds on 19 September 2014, and had the right to call the bonds after 05 years from the issue date. In total, this year, BIDV has called entirely VND7,300 billion bonds issued in 2014.
